The GlenAllachie is an iconic distillery located in Aberlour, in the heart of the prestigious Speyside region in Scotland. Founded in 1967, this distillery produced its first spirit in February 1968 with an impressive capacity of about three million liters per year. After a hiatus in 1985, GlenAllachie was relaunched by Campbell Distillers (which later became part of the Pernod Ricard group), marking the beginning of continuous production for 29 long years. During this period, it was known as "The Home of Clan Campbell Whisky." In 2005, Chivas Brothers enhanced the brand by launching a special Single Malt edition in the Cask Edition collection. Since 2017, Billy Walker, Trisha Savage, and Graham Stevenson, three renowned figures in the whisky world, joined forces to acquire the distillery and create The GlenAllachie Distillers Company Limited, combining over 100 years of expertise and exceptional know-how in producing superior quality whisky.
GlenAllachie 11 years Pedro Ximénez belongs to the prestigious Wood Finish range. This whisky is initially aged for 9 years in American oak casks, before benefiting from a unique finishing in Pedro Ximénez Sherry casks, bringing unmatched richness, sweetness, and aromatic complexity.
