The Arran Malt is an iconic Single Malt distillery located on the picturesque Isle of Arran, in the heart of Scotland's west coast. Renowned for the exceptional quality of its handcrafted whiskies, this distillery offers a wide range of unique expressions and diverse finishes. Established in 1995 in the northern part of the island, at Lochranza, close to Loch na Davie – Arran's natural source of pure water – it benefits from an unparalleled terroir and water quality. Initially, the grist (malted barley ground and mixed with hot water for mashing) was purchased, but a mill has now been integrated into the production process, ensuring full quality control. The Arran Malt captivates with its fresh, lively, and tangy profile, the result of slow and controlled distillation in its traditional stills.

The Port Cask Finish undergoes maturation in American oak casks for about 8 years, before being gently transferred into former Port wine casks. This unique Port cask finish enhances and elegantly reveals the rich fruity and indulgent flavors characteristic of Arran, while slightly softening the usual freshness, offering a harmonious balance and remarkable aromatic complexity.
