Tequila Ocho – Añejo – Corralillos – 40%
Crafted with a craftsmanship in mind, Tequila Ocho showcases the expression of terroir through its unique agave fields. Each batch is sourced from a specific plot—in this case, Corralillos —to reflect the identity of its soil, microclimate, and altitude. Known for its commitment to authenticity and transparency, Ocho distinguishes itself through a minimalist approach that values the raw material and respects Mexican distillation traditions.
Aged for at least 12 months in oak barrels, Añejo Corralillos exemplifies the balance between the richness of the wood and the uniqueness of the terroir from which it comes. Bottled at 40%, it presents itself as a refined tequila, both accessible and complex, which appeals to both connoisseurs and amateurs eager to discover an authentic añejo.
Its nose combines intensity and elegance, with aromas of sweet caramel, toasted wood, and dried fruit, enhanced by a vegetal note of ripe agave. On the palate, the attack is silky and full, developing flavors of vanilla, dark chocolate, and roasted fruit, enveloped by a perfectly integrated woody structure. The finish, long and warm, stretches with accents of fine spices and toasted oak. A highly precise tasting tequila, ideal to enjoy neat, or lightly opened with a few drops of water to reveal all its complexity.
