Patrón is a prestigious brand of artisan Tequila of high quality, produced in the heart of traditional Mexico. The company Patrón Spirits Company, based in Las Vegas, was founded in 1989 by John Paul DeJoria, a visionary entrepreneur and former homeless person who became a millionaire through co-founding John Paul Mitchell Systems, a leader in hair care. In January 2018, the giant Bacardi acquired this iconic premium Tequila manufacturer, thus strengthening its presence in the luxury spirits market.

The Tequila Patrón is made from the finest blue Weber agaves, known for their exceptional sugar content, guaranteeing a refined and authentic taste. The leaves are carefully cut to extract only the heart of the plant, called the "piña." After meticulous hand cutting, the piñas are slowly cooked in a brick oven, ensuring even cooking that releases all the aromatic richness. They are then traditionally crushed using a two-ton Tahona wheel made of natural volcanic rock, accompanied by a traditional grinding stone for perfect crushing. The resulting mixture ferments for three days under strictly controlled conditions before being precisely distilled. For some batches, the Tequila is aged in handcrafted barrels, imparting complex notes and remarkable depth to this exceptional drink.
