Gadyamb is an exclusive brand of artisanal arranged rums, passionately created by Etienne and Julien. Their meeting in 1999, in Saint Joseph, at the heart of the southern tip of Réunion Island, marks the beginning of a strong human and cultural adventure. After leaving the island to pursue higher education in mainland France, they decided in 2018 to put their respective careers – media consultant and chef – on hold to bring to life a unique project imagined during the long mainland winters: Les Arrangés Gadyamb. The expertise of arranged rum artisans rests on three essential pillars: a solid network of committed and responsible partners, carefully selected ingredients with fruits picked at perfect ripeness, meticulously cut and hand-processed to preserve all their aromatic intensity, and an innovative maceration method with maturation in barrels before filtration, ensuring a final product of remarkable purity and free of impurities.
Gadyamb proudly showcases the cultural richness, terroir, and traditions of Réunion through a distinctive range composed of two exceptional bottlings. These two white agricultural rums, from the prestigious Distillerie Savanna, have been carefully barreled, aged, and bottled with artisanal care signed by Gadyamb.
The Cuvée Maloya is an exceptional agricultural rum, aged for 2 years in a continental climate, providing slow and controlled maturation. Its aging took place in ex-Cognac barrels that bring refined woody elegance, complemented by subtle finishing in barrels that previously held Port wine, offering a unique aromatic complexity rich in fruity and spicy notes.
