The GlenAllachie is an iconic distillery located in Aberlour, in the heart of the prestigious Speyside region of Scotland, world-renowned for its exceptional whiskies. Founded in 1967, the distillery began production in February 1968 with a capacity of nearly three million liters of alcohol per year. After a hiatus in 1985, The GlenAllachie was taken over by Campbell Distillers, now part of Pernod Ricard, marking the start of 29 consecutive years of quality whisky production. Nicknamed "The Home of Clan Campbell Whisky," the distillery has preserved its heritage and expertise. In 2005, Chivas Brothers launched a prestigious series, the GlenAllachie Single Malt Cask Edition. Since 2017, under the expert and passionate leadership of Billy Walker, Trisha Savage, and Graham Stevenson, the distillery was reinvented with the creation of The GlenAllachie Distillers Company Limited, merging over 100 years of whisky experience and mastery.
This rare and refined whisky, distilled on December 19, 2011, comes from a single cask (#801059) of Sherry Oloroso Puncheon, known for its rich and deep aromas. It was patiently aged for 11 years under optimal conditions before being bottled in August 2022. Only 731 numbered bottles were produced, making each bottle a must-have for enthusiasts and collectors of exceptional single cask whiskies.
