The Domaine Brana is nestled in Ossès, in the heart of the Basque Country, a region rich in artisanal traditions and exceptional gastronomy. Founded in 1974 by Etienne Brana and his wife Adrienne, this emblematic family estate saw the planting of a unique orchard of William pear trees, at the origin of a recognized distillation know-how. A passionate self-taught distiller, Etienne Brana mastered the ancestral art of distillation by building his own distillery. Today, it is his children, Martine and Jean, who carry on this heritage. Martine, an experienced distiller, has modernized and enriched traditional techniques by innovating with a wide range of local fruits, spices, and plants.
The fruit brandies and liqueur liquids prepared at Domaine Brana are obtained through authentic maceration or slow distillation processes, using exclusively copper pot stills, thus guaranteeing purity and optimal aromatic richness.
