Massenez Distillery - Vanilla Liqueur - 20%
The Massenez Distillery is located in Dieffenbach-au-Val, in the heart of the prestigious Alsace wine region. Founded in 1870 by Jean-Baptiste Massenez, a master distiller, it embodies the artisanal excellence and ancestral know-how of French spirits. In 1913, his son Eugène Massenez innovated by distilling for the first time a wild raspberry eau-de-vie, an exceptional product that charmed the Queen of Sweden, elevating the distillery to the status of official supplier to the Swedish royal court. The third generation, under the leadership of Gabriel Eugène, expanded the house's reputation by closely collaborating with French haute gastronomy, alongside starred chefs such as Paul Bocuse and gastronomic institutions like La Tour d’Argent. Facing sustained growth, a new modern distillery was established in 1979, increasing production capacity while maintaining impeccable artisanal quality. Today, the brand is developing internationally in over 110 countries and continuously enriches its catalog with authentic and refined products. In 2010, Massenez Distillery partnered with the Grandes Distilleries Peureux, renowned for their exceptional Griottines. Under the impetus of Bernard Baud, President of Grandes Distilleries Peureux, Massenez Distillery benefits from new momentum while preserving its unique identity and DNA.
A liqueur is a spirit made from a carefully sweetened neutral alcohol and delicately flavored. Fruit cream belongs to the large family of liqueurs but is mainly distinguished by a higher sugar content. Indeed, a liqueur must contain at least 100 g\/L of sugar and have an alcohol degree between 15 and 55%. When the sugar content exceeds 250 grams per liter, the product is called "creams." These fruit liqueurs and creams are highly appreciated for preparing refined cocktails but are also ideal as a digestif or as a gourmet ingredient in cooking.
