Adriatico is a unique creation designed by Jean-Robert Bellanger in the Apulia region, an iconic area of Italy, renowned for the exceptional quality of its almonds. Inspired by the family tradition where his mother added a few drops of Amaretto to her favorite dessert, Tiramisu, Adriatico represents the new generation of artisanal Amaretto, made exclusively from premium natural ingredients sourced directly from Italy.
The selected almonds are the precious Apulian almonds, famous worldwide for their intense and refined flavor, enriched by Filippo Cea almonds, carefully handpicked. These almonds are then slowly roasted for several hours to extract all their natural aromas, before undergoing a meticulous process of artisan maceration and distillation that guarantees an authentic and subtle taste.
The final blend is enhanced by delicate notes of pure vanilla, cinnamon, intense cocoa, and a hint of coffee to reveal a perfect balance. Cane sugar is used moderately, unlike traditional Amarettos, to preserve a natural and light flavor. Jean-Robert's signature final touch is the addition of a pinch of Margherita di Savoia salt, a fine and precious sea salt that brings a marine freshness reminiscent of the Adriatic Sea shores.
