SAVANNA - Métis - Traditional Rum - 40%
\nThe Savanna Distillery is ideally located on the Island of Réunion, an exceptional territory for the production of quality rums. Founded and conceived by Emile Hugot between 1948 and 1950, this historic distillery, situated in Saint Paul, was initially attached to the local sugar factory of the same name. In 1982, the Savanna Distillery strengthened its expertise by acquiring a distillation workshop dedicated exclusively to the production of light rum reserved for export. This acquisition was a key step following the signing of a major contract with a leading German player, thus accelerating technological development and diversification of production. Today, the Savanna Distillery exports the vast majority of its rums to demanding professional markets. The distillery uses a discontinuous fermentation process, also called "mother vat", composed of 8 fermenters of 100 m3<\/sup> each, as well as its satellite equipment, ensuring a controlled fermentation and a final product of recognized excellence.
\nSavanna Métis is a true traditional rum, carefully aged for 18 months in oak casks, allowing the development of round and complex aromas, characteristic of an exceptional rum. Its finesse and authenticity make it a must-have for lovers of superior quality traditional rum.
