The GlenAllachie is an iconic distillery located in Aberlour, in the heart of the prestigious Speyside region in Scotland. Founded in 1967, this distillery began its first production in February 1968 with an impressive capacity of about three million liters of alcohol per year. In 1985, the distillery temporarily ceased operations. Campbell Distillers, which was later integrated into the Pernod Ricard group, acquired it and restarted production on April 24, marking 29 consecutive years of continuous production. Nicknamed "The Home of Clan Campbell Whisky," GlenAllachie is recognized for the exceptional quality of its single malts. In 2005, Chivas Brothers launched an exclusive GlenAllachie Single Malt series as part of the Cask Edition collection. Since 2017, the distillery has been owned by Billy Walker, Trisha Savage, and Graham Stevenson, three experts reassembling The GlenAllachie Distillers Company Limited with over a century of combined expertise in the whisky industry.
This remarkable 30-year-old Single Malt has been carefully matured in a unique blend of nine virgin Chinquapin oak casks, as well as Pedro Ximénez and Oloroso sherry casks rigorously selected for their exceptional quality. This Batch 1, bottled at cask strength at 48.9%, is limited to only 2,000 copies worldwide, ensuring unmatched rarity and exclusivity.
