RHUM NEISSON - Le vieux par Neisson - 45%

Neisson is an iconic distillery that was established during the interwar period, in 1931, when brothers Adrien and Hildebert Pamphile, also known as Jean Neisson, acquired the La Thieulbert estate, then equipped with 20 hectares of sugarcane plantations. Located in the northwest of Martinique island, not far from Saint-Pierre, at the majestic foot of Mount Pelée, this estate is the birthplace of an exceptional rum. Adrien, the elder, quickly launched a small distillery while his younger brother, Jean Neisson, completed his studies in Paris. While Adrien produced rums in Martinique, Jean developed an import-export company in Paris to market these precious rums. Passionate about quality and production, Jean Neisson used his expertise to have a Savalle column modified according to his specifications, thus optimizing the finesse and aromatic profile of Neisson rums.

Today, still proudly managed by the Neisson family, this family distillery is recognized as one of the last authentic ones in Martinique. The estate continues to ensure an exclusive supply of canes from its own 40 hectares carefully cultivated, guaranteeing consistent and impeccable quality.

A passionate defender of Martinican agricultural tradition and always in pursuit of excellence, Neisson perpetuates its unique know-how by offering Le vieux par Neisson on the occasion of its 85th anniversary. This refined blend is composed of carefully selected vintages, peacefully aged between 3 and 9 years in French oak and Bourbon barrels. This version embodies a subtle and elegant introduction to the distinctive sensory universe of Neisson aged rums, harmoniously combining softness and power for a tasting experience both tender and robust.
