Swell de Spirits is an independent French bottler located in Pessac, near Bordeaux. Founded in 2021 by Michael Barbaria and Kelly, this family-owned company is distinguished by its expert selections of limited-edition rums, whiskies, cognacs, and armagnacs from the finest distilleries around the world.
Swell & Gin Batch No. 01 was born from the collaboration between three enthusiasts: Rodolphe, a great spirits lover eager to discover the complete production of a gin; Boris, a master distiller based in the heart of Entre-deux-Mers; and Michael, co-founder of Swell de Spirits.
This unique gin, entirely made in Nouvelle-Aquitaine , embodies a perfect balance between land and sea. It is distilled from Sauvignon Blanc, to which are added original botanicals: juniper, chamomile, verbena, seaweed and oyster pepper.
The nose reveals the aromatic freshness of Sauvignon Blanc , subtly accompanied by a spicy nuance. On the palate, the expression is harmonious: a beautiful tension between the mineral notes of the vine and the salinity of the ocean. An expressive, iodized, invigorating gin, ideal for sunny days.
