Cognac Jean Luc Pasquet - Family Treasures - Arlette's Cognac - Lot 70 - Petite Champagne - 44.6%
The prestigious Cognac House Pasquet is ideally located at Chez Ferchaud-Eraville, in the heart of Bellevigne in Charente, a region renowned for producing exceptional cognacs. In 1970, Jean-Luc Pasquet inherited from his uncle Albert and took over the family estate, which originally included 8 hectares of vineyards spread across the Grande and Petite Champagne crus. Thanks to ancestral know-how and a passion for quality, the estate has now expanded to 14 hectares, cultivated since 1995 under certified organic farming, ensuring full respect for nature and authentic terroirs. The traditional 20-hectoliter still used by the House allows for precise and delicate double distillation, essential to obtain fine, elegant eaux-de-vie rich in aromas. These eaux-de-vie are aged for a minimum of 4 years in oak barrels, 2 years longer than the legal minimum, to achieve the best expression of the "Cognac" designation. The House is now passionately led by Jean Pasquet and his wife Amy, originally from America, who energetically continue this family tradition of excellence.
The exclusive Family Treasures collection, launched in 2018, was born from a desire to fill a temporary shortage of old cognac stocks by carefully selecting reserves from local distillers. These possess "hidden treasures" in their cellars, coming from unique barrels, carefully preserved. Only one exceptional barrel is chosen from each of these enthusiasts before completing its aging in the respectful and authentic cellars of the Pasquet House. Each bottle proudly bears the first name of the original producer, attesting to the authenticity and unique origin of the product. The famous Arlette's Cognac comes from the Petite Champagne cru, a terroir known for its elegant and complex eaux-de-vie. This rare and precious cuvée counts only 366 bottles produced for this Lot 70, making each bottle a unique piece, prized by enthusiasts and collectors seeking authenticity and finesse.
