Grape of the Art - Cognac Jean Luc Pasquet - Lot 79 - 52.3%
Grape of the Art is a renowned independent German bottler, specializing in rare and exceptional Armagnacs and Cognacs. The unique vision of Grape of the Art was born during a blind tasting organized by the founders of the Rum & Whisky group in Stuttgart, combining passion and sensory expertise. The talented team consists of Robert Bauer, Oliver Gerhardt, Sascha Junkert, Christian Maier, and Leonard Stumpf, all experts in the rigorous selection of exceptional spirits. They focus exclusively on cask-strength Cognacs and Armagnacs, unaltered, coming from single casks carefully sourced from artisanal producers. Theresa Plos, a graphic artist, designs the elegant and minimalist labels, embodying a philosophy that is both sophisticated and contemporary.
The Lot 79 is a masterpiece, an exceptional Grande Champagne Cognac from the prestigious Jean-Luc Pasquet estate. This rare Cognac was distilled from the Ugni Blanc grape harvested in 1979\/1980, in an authentic traditional Charentais still, under the expert mastery of Jean-Michel Tribot. It was carefully aged for 41 years in a humid cellar, in a Limousin oak cask which imparts aromatic richness and deep complexity. The bottling, carried out in January 2022, is limited to 273 numbered bottles, a guarantee of exclusivity and superior quality. This Cognac represents the perfect blend of artisanal tradition and excellent know-how, for discerning enthusiasts seeking rare and authentic spirits.
