The Maison Grosperrin was founded by Jean Grosperrin, who arrived in Cognac in 1991 after working various agricultural jobs such as laborer, shepherd, and sheep shearer during the summer. In 1992, he became a country broker, traveling the region in search of the rarest and most authentic cognac lots, coming from small family farms. In 1999, Jean Grosperrin took a decisive turn by purchasing his first barrels of old cognacs, combined with the excellence of his three stills, thus giving birth to the legendary range of Cognacs Grosperrin. In 2004, his son Guilhem Grosperrin took over and began building exclusive stocks, enriching the cellars with exceptional cognacs. He rigorously selects unique parcels and engages in sustainable contracts with passionate winegrowers. In 2012, Guilhem met with international importers, developing a global network of connoisseurs, enthusiasts, and collectors loyal to the excellence of Grosperrin cognacs.
