Cognac GROSPERRIN - Petite Champagne 1973 - Lot No. 474 - 60.3%
The Maison Grosperrin was founded by Jean Grosperrin, a passionate individual who arrived in Cognac in 1991 after working in various jobs such as agricultural worker, shepherd, and sheep shearer during the summer season. In 1992, he became a country broker, traveling through small farms in the region in search of the rarest and most authentic cognac lots. In 1999, Jean Grosperrin made a strategic shift by acquiring several casks of old cognacs, combining the richness of these treasures with the meticulous work of his three stills: this marked the beginning of the exceptional adventure of Cognacs Grosperrin. In 2004, his son, Guilhem, took over the reins of the company. Under his leadership, the Maison significantly enriched its cellars by accumulating precious stocks of exceptional cognacs. At the same time, he rigorously selects the best parcels and establishes long-term contracts with local winegrowers, ensuring the quality and authenticity of each lot. From 2012 onwards, Guilhem broadened his horizons by meeting foreign importers and developing a global network of passionate enthusiasts and collectors, thereby strengthening the reputation for excellence of Maison Grosperrin.
This Cognac Petite Champagne 1973 comes from a family of notaries established in Cognac for several generations. This exceptional lot was part of the paternal inheritance, acquired from a distinguished client: the president of a famous internationally recognized Cognac house.
