COGNAC LHERAUD - Cognac XO Charles VII
The Maison Lhéraud is a true emblem of Charente craftsmanship, located on the prestigious Lasdoux estate, in the heart of the commune of Angeac, benefiting from the Cognac Appellation d'Origine Contrôlée, in Charente. Founded in 1860 when Alexandre Lhéraud planted his first vines, the house relies on more than 160 years of family history and winemaking passion. Today, the estate covers 85 hectares of vines, spread over two of the six Cognac crus, with a predominance of Petite Champagne, renowned for the finesse and elegance of its eaux-de-vie. The Lhéraud family has preserved an exceptional heritage, with five traditional cellars made of blonde Charente stone where the precious Limousin oak barrels patiently rest, allowing optimal natural aging and revealing the full aromatic complexity of their exceptional cognacs. Maison Lhéraud is not limited to cognac and also shines in the world of spirits thanks to the production of a wide range of Armagnacs under the Baron Gaston Legrand banner. These armagnacs come from a simple distillation of dry white wines from the Ténarèze terroir, distilled in a traditional column still, before being aged in barrels to achieve remarkable quality and elegance.
