Cognac Jean Luc Pasquet - Organic Folle Blanche - 10 years - Lot XIII - 49.6%
The prestigious Cognac House Pasquet, located at Chez Ferchaud-Eraville in Bellevigne in the Charente region, is renowned for its exceptional expertise in organic cognac production. Since 1970, when Jean-Luc Pasquet inherited from his uncle Albert, he has passionately managed the family estate initially comprising 8 hectares of vineyards in Grande and Petite Champagne. Today, the estate covers 14 hectares rigorously cultivated since 1995 according to the principles of certified organic farming, thus ensuring grapes of optimal quality while respecting the environment. The traditional 20-hectoliter still, a precious tool of the House, allows careful double distillation, producing fine, complex, and balanced eaux-de-vie. These are then aged for a minimum of 4 years, including 2 additional years beyond the legal age, in carefully selected oak barrels to obtain the authentic and prestigious Cognac appellation. Today, the House is led by Jean Pasquet and his wife Amy, originally from the United States, who continue this legacy of excellence and innovation.
The Organic Folle Blanche is an exceptional cognac made exclusively from the unique Folle Blanche grape variety, grown under organic farming in the Grande Champagne region, known for the finesse and quality of its terroirs. This rare blend is aged for a minimum of 10 years in oak and red barrels, giving this cognac a remarkable aromatic richness, with delicate notes of fresh fruit, subtle spices, and an exceptional length on the palate. This long aging guarantees a perfect balance between power and elegance, making this organic cognac an essential reference for connoisseurs seeking a natural, environmentally respectful product of superior quality.
