Laterrade is a renowned brand of independent bottling specializing in the excellence of Armagnac, an exceptional French spirit. Vincent Laterrade, originally from Vic-Fezensac, the beating heart of the Ténarèze in Armagnac, has combined passion and expertise. A former sommelier, he traveled the region discovering small artisanal producers, partnering with two enthusiasts to create L’Encantada, an exclusive range of vintage armagnacs from rare and little-known estates. Building on this experience, Vincent became a true hunter of precious armagnacs, assembling a unique and remarkable collection. Later, he partnered with the Fitte family, owners of Château de Herrebouc in Vic-Fezensac, to find historic and vintage barrels aged from 10 to over 50 years. His philosophy is clear: to offer vintage armagnacs from a single estate, with no alcohol reduction, blending, or manipulation, thus guaranteeing unmatched purity and authenticity. After the dissolution of this partnership, Vincent carefully preserved his precious stocks. More recently, thanks to Stéphane de Luze, he transformed an abandoned barn at Château de Briat into a modern cellar: now, the barrels belong exclusively to him and are bottled under the "Laterrade" label. All spirits come exclusively from passionate local producers, bottles are made by a regional glassmaker, labels are designed on local rag paper, the wax is strictly French, and the boxes come from sustainably managed French forests, highlighting a strong commitment to quality and local craftsmanship.
This exceptional Armagnac is aged for 25 years in French oak barrels from the forests of Gascony, imparting a deep aromatic richness and rare elegance to this spirit.
