Gaston Legrand - Vintage 2001 - Bas Armagnac - 40%
\nThe Maison Lhéraud is established at the Lasdoux estate, located in the charming commune of Angeac, right in the heart of the Cognac appellation in Charentes. Since 1860, when Alexandre Lhéraud was the family pioneer by planting the first vines in his garden, the winemaking tradition has continued with passion. Today, the estate covers 85 hectares of vines generously spread over two of the six prestigious Cognac crus, with a clear predominance of Petite Champagne, renowned for its exceptional limestone soils. The Lhéraud family owns 5 historic cellars made of blonde Charente stone, designed to house Limousin oak barrels, thus ensuring a natural and optimal aging of the eaux-de-vie. At the same time, from Lannepax in the Gers, Maison Lhéraud produces a complete range of excellent Armagnacs under the brand Baron Gaston Legrand. These exceptional Armagnacs are born from a simple distillation of dry white wines from the unique terroir of Ténarèze, carried out in a traditional column still, a symbol of authenticity and ancestral know-how.
