Erika Spirit is an artisanal distillery located in Bergerac, in the heart of the Southwest of France, a region renowned for the richness of its terroir and the quality of its spirits. Founded by three passionate friends, the company specializes in creating exceptional gins enhanced by black heather honey from the Landes, a rare and precious ingredient. At the helm of production, Paul Thirion, an experienced beekeeper with over 500 hives, ensures the well-being of his bees, which he carefully raises and moves throughout the region according to the blooming seasons, to offer honey with incomparable aromas. The distillation of Erika spirits is carried out using a Stupfler® still, within the famous Bercloux distillery near Cognac, a guarantee of aromatic finesse and authenticity.
The Erika Spring Gin embodies the fourth original creation of the Erika Spirit house. This premium gin is made based on a delicate infusion of fresh elderflowers, harvested at full maturity, full of pollen, and distilled the same day to preserve all their freshness and aromatic intensity. To this botanical selection are added juniper berries, coriander, fruity notes of physalis, walnut leaves, the famous Erica heather honey, and a refined touch of sansho berry (shansho), for remarkable complexity.
