Cognac Jean Luc Pasquet - Confluences - Vieilles Grande Champagne - L.90-80's - 45.5%
The Cognac House Pasquet is located at Chez Ferchaud-Eraville, in Bellevigne in the Charente region, a must-visit area for lovers of authentic Cognac. Founded in 1970, Jean-Luc Pasquet took over the family estate inherited from his uncle Albert, initially composed of 8 hectares of vineyards in Grande and Petite Champagne, two prestigious crus known for the quality of their eaux-de-vie. The estate has expanded to 14 hectares, rigorously cultivated since 1995 under certified organic farming, ensuring Cognacs that respect the environment without compromising on finesse and aromatic purity. The traditional 20-hectoliter still allows for careful double distillation, producing fine, elegant, and rich eaux-de-vie, which are then aged for a minimum of 4 years in oak barrels—2 years longer than the legally required aging—to achieve the best of the "Cognac" designation. Today, the House is proudly managed by Jean Pasquet and his wife Amy, originally from the United States, combining French tradition with international openness.
This exceptional Cognac, from the Confluences collection, comes exclusively from the renowned Grande Champagne cru, recognized as the best area for optimal aging and incomparable aromatic richness. Only 583 bottles were carefully produced for this Lot 90-80, making each bottle a rare treasure sought after by collectors and connoisseurs.
