The Kinryu Corporation, the parent company founded in 1950 by a consortium of nine renowned sake manufacturers, embodies excellence and innovation in the production of authentic Japanese spirits. After two intense years of meticulous research, the ideal location to craft an exceptional whisky was discovered. In 1996, the crystalline underground waters of Yuza were officially designated among the top 100 waters of Japan by the prestigious Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism, highlighting the remarkable purity of this essential distillation resource.

This new First Edition released in 2022 proudly marks the launch of the very first whisky produced by this exceptional distillery, founded in 2018.
