Ichiro's Malt Wine Wood Reserve is an exceptional vatted malt, subtly combining iconic Japanese single malts such as Chichibu and Hanyu, as well as refined Scottish single malts. This rare and prestigious expression benefits from a unique aging process in casks that previously held high-quality red wine, before being meticulously finished in Ovum barrels. These French oak casks, crafted with exceptional artisanal expertise in Charentes, are the work of the Meilleurs Ouvriers de France from the Taransaud team, renowned for their excellence. This harmonious marriage imparts a remarkable aromatic complexity and intense gustatory richness to this whisky, ideal for discerning enthusiasts and collectors.
