The prestigious Cognac House Pasquet is located at Chez Ferchaud-Eraville, in Bellevigne, right in the heart of the Charente region, renowned for its exceptional vineyards. In 1970, Jean-Luc Pasquet inherited from his uncle Albert and passionately took over the family estate, which then extended over 8 hectares of vines located in Grande and Petite Champagne, the most noble crus of the Ugni Blanc grape variety. Thanks to traditional know-how, the estate has expanded to reach 14 hectares today, entirely cultivated under certified organic farming since 1995, thus respecting the environment and the optimal quality of the grapes.
The 20-hectoliter copper still used for distillation allows the extraction of eaux-de-vie with refined and complex aromas, made according to the ancestral method of Charentais double distillation. These eaux-de-vie are then carefully aged for a minimum of 4 years in oak barrels, which is 2 years longer than the legal minimum required to obtain the prestigious "Cognac" appellation. Today, the Pasquet House is proudly managed by Jean Pasquet and his wife Amy, of American origin, who continue this family tradition with passion and respect for the terroir.
The exclusive Trésors de Famille collection, launched in 2018, was born from the desire to highlight rare cognacs from exceptional barrels. Facing a shortage of old cognacs, the Pasquet family approached local distillers, guardians of precious "hidden treasures" kept in their cellars. A single unique barrel is selected from each of these enthusiasts to perfect its aging in the traditional cellars of the Pasquet House. Each bottle is personalized with the producer's first name and produced in a limited, numbered series to guarantee its authenticity and exclusivity. Jean-Pierre's Cognac comes from the recognized Grande Champagne cru, a true expression of finesse and elegance, with only 120 bottles available for this exceptional vintage, Lot 75.
