Cognac Pasquet - L'Organic 04 - 4 years - 40%
The prestigious Cognac House Pasquet is ideally located at Chez Ferchaud-Eraville, in the heart of Bellevigne in Charente, a region renowned for the exceptional quality of its vineyard terroirs. Founded in 1970 when Jean-Luc Pasquet inherited from his uncle Albert, the family estate initially covered 8 hectares of vines in Grande and Petite Champagne, two of the most reputed crus in the region. Today, the estate has expanded to 14 hectares strictly cultivated according to certified organic farming standards since 1995, ensuring deep respect for the environment and optimal organoleptic quality of the grapes.
The traditional 20-hectoliter copper still used by the House allows for a meticulous double distillation, essential to extract fine and complex eaux-de-vie, characteristic of great cognacs. These eaux-de-vie are then carefully aged for a minimum of 4 years in oak barrels, thanks to an extended maturation of 2 additional years beyond the legal requirement, bringing aromatic richness, roundness, and balance to the final product. Today, the estate is carried on by Jean Pasquet and his wife Amy, of American origin, ensuring a blend of traditional expertise and modernity.
L'Organic 04 is an exceptional cognac made exclusively from the Ugni Blanc grape variety, grown in the elite crus of Petite and Grande Champagne. This premium product benefits from an extended aging of at least 4 years in French oak barrels, which gives it delicate and persistent notes, remarkable aromatic richness, and exceptional smoothness on the palate, ideal for discerning connoisseurs seeking a high-end organic cognac.
