Massenez Distillery - Ginger Cream - 20%
The Massenez Distillery is located in Dieffenbach-au-Val, in the heart of the renowned wine region of Alsace. Founded in 1870 by Jean-Baptiste Massenez, a renowned master distiller, this family business embodies excellence and traditional know-how. As early as 1913, his son Eugène Massenez innovated by distilling for the first time a wild raspberry eau-de-vie, which earned the admiration of the Queen of Sweden. This distinction allowed the distillery to become an official supplier to the Swedish royal court. The third generation, led by Gabriel Eugène, consolidated the distillery's reputation by partnering with top starred chefs like Bocuse, as well as prestigious tables such as La Tour d’Argent. To support sustained growth, a new distillery was established in 1979, enabling the export of its exceptional products to over 110 countries and expanding its range with unique creations. In 2010, Massenez Distillery joined the Grandes Distilleries Peureux group. Bernard Baud, president of Grandes Distilleries Peureux, known for his famous Griottines, brought new momentum while preserving the authenticity and historical DNA of the House.
A liqueur is a neutral alcohol carefully sweetened and skillfully flavored. Fruit cream belongs to the large family of liqueurs, with a major specificity: its high sugar content. Indeed, a liqueur must contain at least 100 g of sugar per liter and have an alcohol content ranging between 15 and 55%. Beyond 250 grams of sugar per liter, the liqueur is classified as a "cream." Fruit liqueurs and creams are ideal to enhance your cocktails, to be enjoyed as refined digestifs, or to add a gourmet touch to your culinary recipes.
