Massenez Distillery - White Mint Liqueur - 20%
The Massenez Distillery is located in Dieffenbach-au-Val, in the heart of the historic Alsace region, renowned for its exceptional artisanal expertise. Founded in 1870 by Jean-Baptiste Massenez, a master distiller, this distillery embodies tradition and innovation in the art of distillation. In 1913, Eugène Massenez, the founder's son, created for the first time a wild raspberry eau-de-vie, a refined creation that charmed the Queen of Sweden, making the distillery an official supplier to the Swedish royal court. The third generation, represented by Gabriel Eugène Massenez, strengthened the establishment's reputation by partnering with haute cuisine, collaborating with starred chefs such as Paul Bocuse and prestigious restaurants like La Tour d’Argent. Facing sustained growth, a new distillery was established in 1979 to meet international demand. Today, the brand exports to more than 110 countries and continues to diversify its catalog of exceptional products. In 2010, Massenez Distillery joined forces with the Grandes Distilleries Peureux, located on the other side of the Vosges and famous for Griottines. Under the leadership of Bernard Baud, President of Grandes Distilleries Peureux, a new dynamic revitalized Massenez Distillery while respecting the authentic DNA of the House.
Liqueur is a neutral, sweetened, and flavored alcohol, the result of a skillful blend between distilled spirit and natural flavors. Fruit cream belongs to the large family of liqueurs, with the main difference resting on sugar content. Indeed, a liqueur guarantees a minimum sugar content of 100 g\/L and an alcohol level ranging between 15 and 55%. When the sugar concentration exceeds 250 g\/L, it is then called "creams." These fruit liqueurs and creams are extremely versatile, ideal for creating refined cocktails, but also appreciated as digestifs or incorporated into gourmet cooking to subtly enhance culinary preparations.
