Massenez Distillery - Elderflower Liqueur - 20%
The Massenez Distillery is located in Dieffenbach-au-Val, right in the heart of the authentic Alsace region. Founded in 1870 by the passionate and expert distiller Jean-Baptiste Massenez, it has been preserving an exceptional family know-how for over 150 years. In 1913, Eugène Massenez, son of the founder, innovated by distilling wild raspberry eau-de-vie for the first time, recognized and appreciated by the Queen of Sweden, which earned the distillery the title of official supplier to the Swedish royal court. The third generation, represented by Gabriel Eugène, strengthened the house's reputation by establishing prestigious partnerships with starred chefs such as Bocuse and renowned restaurants like La Tour d’Argent. Facing exponential growth, a new distillery was established in 1979. Today, the Massenez brand is exported to more than 110 countries and offers a diverse range of exceptional products. In 2010, the Massenez Distillery joined forces with the Grandes Distilleries Peureux, a strategic union that brought a breath of renewal while preserving the authenticity and unique DNA of the house, under the leadership of Bernard Baud, an emblematic president known for his Griottines.
A liqueur is made from a finely sweetened neutral alcohol flavored with carefully selected natural ingredients. Fruit cream belongs to the large family of liqueurs, with a notable difference related to sugar content. Indeed, a liqueur contains a minimum sugar content of 100 g\/L for an alcohol level between 15% and 55%. When the sugar concentration exceeds 250 g\/L, these products are then called "creams." These fruit liqueurs and creams are ideal for enhancing cocktails, enjoying as a refined digestif, or elevating your culinary creations.
