Gaston Legrand - Vintage 1974 - Bas Armagnac - 40%
\nThe Maison Lhéraud is established at the Lasdoux estate, located in the commune of Angeac, right in the Cognac appellation within the renowned Charentes region. Since 1860, when Alexandre Lhéraud was the first in the family to plant vines in his garden, this house has upheld a tradition of viticultural excellence. Today, the estate covers 85 hectares of vineyards spread over two of the six prestigious Cognac crus, mainly in Petite Champagne, known for its exceptional terroir. The Lhéraud family owns five cellars made of blonde Charente stone where Limousin oak barrels rest delicately, promoting a natural and harmonious aging of their eaux-de-vie. From Lannepax, in the Gers, Maison Lhéraud also produces a wide range of Armagnacs under the prestigious Baron Gaston Legrand appellation. These authentic Armagnacs come from a single distillation of dry white wines from the unique terroir of Ténarèze, made using a traditional column still.
