Gaston Legrand - Vintage 1964 - Bas Armagnac - 40%
The Maison Lhéraud is located at the Lasdoux estate, in the charming commune of Angeac, right in the heart of the prestigious Cognac appellation in Charentes. Since 1860, when Alexandre Lhéraud planted the first vines in his family garden, this renowned house has been perpetuating an exceptional ancestral know-how. Today, the estate covers 85 hectares of vineyards spread over two of the six official crus of Cognac, with a predominance of Petite Champagne, known for the finesse and elegance of its eaux-de-vie. The Lhéraud family proudly operates five traditional cellars made of blonde Charente stone where Limousin oak barrels ensure natural and optimal aging, thus revealing the full aromatic complexity of its spirits.
Furthermore, from Lannepax, in the Gers, Maison Lhéraud produces a prestigious range of Armagnacs under the Baron Gaston Legrand label. These exceptional Armagnacs result from a unique and traditional distillation of dry white wines from the exceptional terroir of Ténarèze, made with a column still. This method guarantees spirits rich in aromas, offering an incomparable sensory experience for discerning enthusiasts and collectors.
