Bas Armagnac - Baron Gaston Legrand - VSOP
The Maison Lhéraud, nestled in the Lasdoux estate in the commune of Angeac, is a prestigious reference in the Cognac appellation in Charentes. Founded in 1860 by Alexandre Lhéraud, a family pioneer who planted the first vines in his garden, this house today perpetuates an exceptional viticultural heritage. The estate covers 85 hectares of vineyards, carefully spread over two of the six emblematic crus of Cognac, with a predominance of the renowned Petite Champagne, known for the finesse and complexity of its eaux-de-vie. The Lhéraud family manages five cellars made of blonde Charente stone where Limousin oak barrels patiently rest, guaranteeing a natural aging of superior quality. From Lannepax, in the Gers, Maison Lhéraud also offers an extensive range of Armagnacs under the prestigious Baron Gaston Legrand appellation. These Armagnacs result from a simple distillation, finely carried out from dry white wines from the unique terroir of Ténarèze, in a traditional column still, thus ensuring spirits rich in aromas and character.
