Bas Armagnac - Baron Gaston Legrand - VS
The Maison Lhéraud is ideally located at the Lasdoux estate, in the charming commune of Angeac, right in the heart of the prestigious Cognac appellation in Charentes. Founded in 1860, this family house saw Alexandre Lhéraud, the dynasty's pioneer, plant the first vines in his garden, thus marking the beginning of a long winemaking tradition. Today, the estate covers 85 hectares of exceptional vineyards, spread over 2 of the 6 crus of the Cognac Appellation d'Origine Contrôlée, with a notable predominance of Petite Champagne, renowned for the finesse of its grapes.
The Lhéraud family owns five cellars made of the typical blonde stone of Charente, where precious Limousin oak barrels rest, ensuring a natural and optimal aging of the eaux-de-vie. From Lannepax, in the Gers, Maison Lhéraud produces a complete range of authentic Armagnacs under the prestigious brand Baron Gaston Legrand. These Armagnacs are the result of a traditional and simple distillation of dry white wines from the unique terroir of Ténarèze, carried out in a specific column still that preserves the integrity and complex aromas of the eaux-de-vie.
