HUDSON - Baby Bourbon - 46%
Hudson is an iconic craft whiskey brand produced by the renowned Tuthilltown Spirits Distillery located in New York, in the heart of the United States. Since 2003, Ralph Erenzo has sparked a true revolution by creating this innovative distillery in the northern part of the state, well before the current boom of craft distilleries across the country. He took on the challenge of changing strict regulations, thus reviving whiskey production in the state for the first time since Prohibition. Today, thanks to his efforts, craft distilling is thriving with over 1,800 distilleries in the United States, including more than 180 in New York alone. The adventure began at the historic Tuthilltown Gristmill site, a flour mill built in 1788 by Selah Tuthill, a pioneer in processing local grains into flour. This mill is recognized as the oldest continuously operating flour mill in New York State history and has been listed on the National Register of Historic Places since 1982. In its modern beginnings, it even produced kosher matzo flour for the Jewish community of New York and its surroundings, symbolizing a rich local and artisanal heritage.
Hudson's Baby Bourbon is an exceptional whiskey, made exclusively from corn grown in New York State, ensuring premium quality and a unique terroir. Its 4-month aging in very small barrels (ranging from 9 to 60 liters) gives it accelerated maturation while developing an intense amber color and remarkable aromatic richness. This method allows Baby Bourbon to reveal delicate, powerful, and authentic notes typical of the finest American craft bourbons.
Non-Peated – a pure and natural whiskey, revealing all the finesse of its terroir and artisanal production.
