COGNAC PAUL GIRAUD - Cuvée Très Rare - 40%
\nThe exceptional 42-hectare vineyard of Paul Giraud is located in Bouteville, a charming village nestled in the heart of the prestigious Grande Champagne, the premier Cognac region renowned for its uniquely rich clay-limestone soils. From meticulous vine cultivation to artisanal distillation, Paul Giraud favors an ancestral and authentic know-how to fully reveal the pure and noble expression of this exceptional terroir through remarkable cognacs, never made from blends.
\nTo ensure excellence, the manual harvest is carried out with extreme care, preserving the incomparable quality of the Ugni Blanc grapes. Vinification and double distillation are performed directly on the estate, respecting traditions. The long and controlled aging in oak barrels imparts a deep nobility to these eaux-de-vie. The cellars, with naturally optimal humidity conditions, promote exceptional development, giving Paul Giraud cognacs unmatched softness, roundness, and mellowness.
\nTrès Rare represents an old Cognac eau-de-vie patiently aged for many years in carefully selected oak barrels. This cuvée is distinguished by powerful and refined notes of rancio, cigar box, fine leather, and subtle oriental spices. Complex and harmonious, it delights both nose and palate, with a persistent length and a velvety, melting texture characteristic of the finest exceptional cognacs.
