Woodford Reserve is an iconic Kentucky Bourbon brand produced by Brown-Forman Corporation . The distillery, formerly known as Old Oscar Pepper and then Labrot & Graham, is located near Versailles, in the heart of Kentucky. This rye whiskey is made from a unique blend: one part distilled in a copper pot still at the Woodford Reserve distillery, and the other in a column still at the Brown-Forman distillery in Shively. Master distillers Chris Morris , a bourbon veteran since 1976, and Elizabeth McCall , who joined in 2018 to bring innovation and creativity, oversee this production.
This Rye Whiskey is composed mainly of rye (53%), supplemented by corn and malted barley, then aged in new American white oak barrels to develop its aromatic richness.
