\nMattei Cap Corse is an iconic artisanal aperitif, created in 1872, made from a mistelle derived from Muscat and Vermentinu grape varieties, rigorously selected and hand-harvested in Corsica. This exceptional spirit benefits from ancestral know-how with long and controlled macerations of quinine bark, Corsican citron, as well as a unique blend of aromatic plants, fruits, and spices from local and exotic terroirs. The mistelle used is a fortified wine obtained by mutage before alcoholic fermentation; this process prevents fermentation to preserve the richness in residual sugars and natural fruity aromas, thus ensuring incomparable sweetness and finesse.
