DOLIN - Vermouth Blanc - 16%
The Maison Dolin, emblematic of the Chambéry region in Savoie, embodies over 200 years of excellence and artisanal tradition. Since its founding, two great families, the Chavasse\/Dolin family and then the Sevez family, have preserved a unique know-how in crafting this exceptional vermouth. The distillery has successfully navigated major historical turning points — from the annexation of Savoie to France, through the trials of the Great War, to the bombings of Chambéry in 1944 — all while maintaining its ancestral manufacturing methods. Inspired by the natural and wild richness of the Alpine mountains, the house extracts the essential ingredients for its secret recipes, which have remained unchanged for several centuries.
Proud of its ecological and local commitment, Dolin favors cultivators of Alpine plants located nearby, working to preserve endangered species such as génépi and woundwort. This responsible approach also extends throughout the supply chain: label, carton, and glass container suppliers are carefully chosen within a close radius of Chambéry, while the rare external ingredients, like lemonade or Savoie apple juice, are rigorously selected within less than 30 km. This proximity policy guarantees optimal quality while supporting the local economy.
The Dolin Vermouth Blanc stands out for its soft and aromatic profile, highlighting a beautiful harmony of typically Alpine aromas: fresh and invigorating notes of medicinal plants, a hint of camphor, and sparkling citrus accents. On the palate, delicate floral touches of broom and elderflower are perceived, offering a unique and refined sensory experience.
