The Mancino Vermouths are crafted by Giancarlo Mancino, an internationally renowned Italian bartender recognized for his exceptional expertise. The small family distillery, established in 1957, continues a tradition of excellence and authenticity. The Vermouths are produced from grapes grown on 30 hectares of vineyards located in Canelli Asti in the prized wine region of Piedmont, as well as in Pignola in Basilicata. Some of these ancient vines are over 80 years old, ensuring unique quality and aromatic richness. Giancarlo Mancino carefully selects about forty rare and aromatic botanical plants, including Italian wormwood, Pontic rhododendron, gentian, and Roman chamomile, which are ground into powder in a traditional mill dating back to 1930. The extraction of aromas is entirely done by hand, then the Vermouths are left to rest for a minimum of 6 months to fully develop their complexity before bottling.
Sakura is an exclusive limited edition, launched in 2022, which elevates the art of Vermouth through a unique recipe. This exceptional vermouth is made from carefully selected Italian white wines, finely blended with a refined mix of 20 aromatic plants. Among these precious ingredients are the delicate Kyoto cherry blossoms, an iconic symbol of Japan, as well as the subtle Italian viola flowers. With only 4,000 bottles produced, each bottle of Sakura is a true treasure for lovers of high-end and rare vermouths.
