Edition Spirits is a renowned independent bottling company, founded by brothers Scott and Andrew Laing in Glasgow. Edition Spirits is now an essential division of Hunter Laing, notably incorporating the prestigious First Editions series into their portfolio. Specializing in Blended and Single Malt whiskies, they also hold rare and precious stocks of aged rums, notably from emblematic territories such as Guyana and Jamaica.
In the 17th and 18th centuries, island inhabitants called their local distillates "Kill Devil," a term rich in history and tradition. Today, although many superstitions have faded, the Caribbean continues to embody the richness and authenticity of exotic rum. The Kill Devil series thus celebrates the exceptional quality and aromatic diversity of Caribbean and international rums. Each Single Cask is rigorously selected, transported to Scotland, then hand-bottled with artisanal expertise, guaranteeing a unique tasting experience.
This exceptional rum was distilled in a column still in May 1998 at the Diamond Distillery in Guyana. It underwent a rare aging of 23 years before its meticulous bottling in Scotland. Only 212 exclusive bottles were produced, making this edition a must-have collector's piece for all lovers of exceptional rums.
