Gordon & MacPhail is a world-renowned independent bottler of Scottish whisky, as well as the proud owner of the prestigious Benromach distillery. Known for its exceptionally diverse range, this house offers rare and authentic bottlings from Scotland's most iconic distilleries. Founded in 1895 as a grocery and wine and spirits merchant in Elgin, in the prosperous northeast region of Scotland, it has evolved with passion and expertise. In 1915, the company took a new direction under former apprentice John Urquhart, who took full control, embedding Gordon & MacPhail in a family tradition strengthened by over a century of quality whisky expertise.
The Glenlivet distillery, a gem located in the heart of Speyside, the cradle of Scotland's finest Single Malts, was established in 1824. It boasts an almost uninterrupted history, demonstrating its economic and cultural resilience. Remarkably, it remained active during the Great Depression, with only a temporary closure during World War II. Building on its heritage, the distillery grew rapidly post-war, becoming one of the largest and most renowned Single Malt producers. Today, it is owned by the international Pernod Ricard group, ensuring consistent quality and global distribution.
