CAORUNN Raspberry - Gin - 41.8%
The Balmenach Distillery is ideally located near Cromdale, in the heart of the Scottish Highlands, within the splendid natural setting of the Cairngorms National Park. This prestigious distillery is renowned for its essential Caorunn Gin. The term Caorunn means in Gaelic Rowan Berry, a Celtic botanical ingredient essential to the unique composition of this exceptional handcrafted gin. Distilled in small batches, Caorunn is carefully crafted four times by a passionate master distiller, Simon Buley. He selects only a neutral base spirit of impeccable quality, made from noble cereals, as well as pure water sourced directly from the Highlands. The exclusive recipe includes 11 botanical ingredients, among which are wild plants handpicked in the Highlands such as . These delicate notes enhance the traditional plants essential to gin production: juniper berries, coriander seeds, orange and lemon peels, angelica root, and cassia bark.
The Caorunn Raspberry Gin is elevated by fresh raspberries from Perthshire, artisanally incorporated into their famous copper still called the "Copper Berry Chamber", specially designed to eliminate sulfur compounds and other unwanted impurities. This process guarantees exceptional aromatic purity and a perfectly balanced fruity flavor, making this gin an essential reference for lovers of refined spirits.
