\nThe prestigious Longueteau family settled in Guadeloupe as early as 1766, thus rooting a unique agricultural and distilling tradition. It was at the end of the 19th century that Louis-Philippe Henry Longueteau made the strategic acquisition of part of the Marquisate of Sainte-Marie, put up for auction due to a severe crisis in the sugar industry. In 1895, he realized his vision by purchasing the Espérance estate, gradually transforming this formerly sugar-producing domain into a renowned and emblematic distillery.
\nToday, it is François Longueteau, Master Distiller and passionate farmer, who perpetuates this ancestral know-how. Clos des Spiritueux is proud to present this exceptional house, unique in Guadeloupe, whose rums are made 100% from their own sugarcane cultivated in harmony with the land. The canes are cut at full maturity and crushed the same day, guaranteeing optimal quality and juice with powerful aromas. The fermentation, strictly controlled for 48 hours, takes place "without tricks": no antifoam agents, no acidifiers, no unnecessary additives. Distillation then takes place in a sophisticated 28-plate Savalle column, preserving all the finesse and richness of the natural aromas.
\nThis Longueteau Punch Maracudja, a true jewel of the Guadeloupean terroir, is made with deep respect for local traditions. It is composed of carefully selected fruits for perfect maceration in 50° Longueteau agricultural rums. The homemade recipe, the result of know-how passed down and refined over more than 20 years, offers a unique balance between sweetness, fruity acidity, and aromatic strength, ideal for lovers of authentic and refined punches.
