RHUM LONGUETEAU - Punch - Coco - 1 Litre - 20%
The Longueteau family settled in Guadeloupe in 1766, embodying a tradition of agricultural and artisanal excellence. However, it was only at the end of the 19th century that Louis-Philippe Henry Longueteau acquired part of the prestigious Marquisat de Sainte-Marie, auctioned following the major crisis in the sugar industry. In 1895, he became the owner of the Habitation Espérance to transform this emblematic sugar estate into a renowned distillery. Today, under the leadership of François Longueteau, the House continues a unique tradition: it is the only distillery in Guadeloupe where the owner is both farmer and master distiller, guaranteeing incomparable quality and authenticity.
Longueteau rums are exclusively made from sugarcane grown on their own lands, harvested and crushed at full maturity on the same day to ensure freshness and richness of aromas. After a natural fermentation of 48 hours without any additives or inputs, the juices undergo precise distillation in a Savalle column equipped with 28 plates, a traditional process ensuring the purity and finesse of the rum.
The Punch Coco is handcrafted from fresh grated coconut. This natural base is carefully macerated in Longueteau white rum, enriched with subtle flavors of vanilla, creamy milk, spicy nutmeg, fresh lemon, and a touch of sugar, offering a delicious and authentic drink, perfect for lovers of traditional Guadeloupean punch.
