Prosper, a traveling distiller and passionate cellar master, drives his still from farm to farm to expertly transform white wine into exceptional Armagnac, an authentic reflection of the Gascon terroir. His sons, Gaston and Georges, proudly founded the renowned Maison d'Armagnac Delord Frères in Lannepax. As dedicated producers, distillers, and merchants, they gradually developed the reputation of their Bas-Armagnacs from Gascony in the demanding markets of the United States, combining ancestral tradition with excellent know-how. Jacques, Gaston's eldest son, passionately continues this long family adventure dedicated to Armagnac. His brother Pierre soon joins him, and together they successfully manage the transmission and growth of this exceptional heritage.
Today, Sylvain and Jérôme, the two sons of Jacques, embody the dynamic new generation of Maison Clos des Spiritueux. One is responsible for the refined expertise of the product—selecting, smelling, tasting, and skillfully blending it—while the other excels in the art of its enhancement and promotion worldwide. Together, they work to perpetuate the excellence and unique reputation of Clos des Spiritueux, a vibrant symbol of the Gascon terroir and the art of living around Armagnac.
