Originally, Domaine Savanna, located in Saint-Paul at the foot of the majestic mountains, began its history in the early 19th century as a sugar factory. The Savanna distillery itself was born a little later, driven by the ambitious vision of Emile Hugot between 1948 and 1950. This former prestigious student of the École Centrale des Arts et Manufactures in Paris established himself as an essential international figure in the sugar industry. From 1982, a strategic partnership allowed the Savanna distillery to elevate the quality of its rums to the high-end market, an excellence recognized by being the first European distillery certified ISO 9002. The rums benefit from careful aging in French oak barrels and vats from the forests of Limousin and Allier, ensuring perfect maturation and a unique aromatic complexity.

This exceptional cuvée Grand Arôme cask 931 is a grand arôme rum made from long-fermented molasses. Its aging in Port casks gives it rich, deep, and elegantly fruity notes, enhancing every tasting. This Port Cask Blend at 49.20% alcohol is an essential reference for lovers of rare and refined rums, combining traditional know-how and exceptional terroir.
