Togouchi is a renowned premium Japanese whisky brand, produced by the prestigious Sakurao Distillery located in Japan. This distillery is an integral part of the historic Chugoku Jozo house, which welcomed in 1998 Taihei Yamamoto, a master distiller initially specialized in the production of refined liqueurs, traditional sake, and shochu. Since the creation of the Sakurao distillery in 2017, he has embarked on an innovative adventure focused on producing exceptional malt whiskies. Togouchi whiskies benefit from exceptional aging in a unique environment: a 361-meter underground tunnel dug in 1970, offering an ideal microclimate with controlled humidity and a constant temperature of 14 degrees Celsius. This natural setting ensures slow and balanced maturation, promoting optimal extraction of complex and subtle aromas.

The exclusive Kiwami edition contains 20% carefully selected malted barley and benefits from aging in high-quality oak barrels, which adds richness and depth to the flavor notes.
