BULLEIT - Rye - 45%

Bulleit Distilling Company is a renowned craft whiskey distillery located in Louisville, in the heart of Kentucky, the iconic region of American bourbon. In 1987, Thomas E. Bulleit Jr. fulfilled a family dream by reviving a historic bourbon recipe, inherited from his great-great-grandfather Augustus Bulleit, a 19th-century master distiller who crafted a high-rye whiskey between 1830 and 1860. The exceptional quality of Bulleit Bourbon notably relies on pure water, naturally filtered through Kentucky limestone, which imparts a unique minerality, as well as aging in charred American oak barrels, giving the whiskey its delicious smoky notes. The high rye content contributes to a robust and spicy palate, while the finish is smooth and clean, perfectly balancing intensity and finesse.

The contemporary recipe of Bulleit Rye, launched in 2011, stands out for an exceptionally high rye proportion, at 95% compared to the usual 51%, thus offering a unique tasting experience for lovers of authentic and powerful rye whiskey.
