La Belle Cabresse - White Rum - 50%
La Belle Cabresse is a prestigious range of rums produced by the renowned Distillerie Saint Maurice, ideally located in Saint-Laurent-Du-Maroni in French Guiana. With a unique history, this distillery is today the last operating distillery in French Guiana, whereas the territory once had up to 18 during the colonial era. Founded in 1935 by the visionary Georges Prévot, the distillery originally occupied a 16-hectare site dedicated to a Sugar Refinery and Distillery. The transition to exclusive rum production has been effective since the creation in 1980 of the Rhums Saint Maurice company, with the definitive cessation of sugar activity in 1988. Today, the estate extends over more than 100 hectares of sugarcane cultivation, guaranteeing exceptional raw material. The distillery underwent significant modernization works completed in 2014, thus enhancing the quality and authenticity of its products. The design and packaging of La Belle Cabresse have also been revisited, while retaining their strong historical imprint, notably the famous "Chabine," an iconic symbol of the Guyanese woman wearing her traditional madras headdress, a cultural emblem increasingly neglected by other agricultural rum brands.
This exceptional White Rum is a pure sugarcane juice, precisely distilled in a column still, guaranteeing finesse, power, and authenticity in every sip. Perfect for lovers of refined agricultural white rums, La Belle Cabresse embodies the excellence and unique know-how of Guyanese distillation.
